Artists I love: JOE PURDY.

I had just finished the very first episode of LOST at the beginning of April (I was a little late to that party, I know.) and during the last few minutes before it ended this song started playing: 

RIGHT?! I immediately started investigating (reason #678 why I love the internet) and found out that it was Joe Purdy. 

Joe! Where have you BEEN all my life?! I feel cheated! How has your music been out in the world for 9 years and I never knew?!?!

Well, I made up for the 25 years and one month that I didn't know his voice, and downloaded and bought almost everything he's ever sang and have been listening to it non-stop since.

His newest record came out in July. It's called "4th Of July." It's amazing. There is a song on it called, "The Ballplayer" I saw the title and I knew, without even listening to it yet, that I would love it. Well, ...I adore it. My eyes watered up the first time and every time I listen to it. Especially the very end. It reminds me of my brother. :)

His voice makes me consciously happy that somebody thought to invent a piano and sing with the sound that came out of it. Yes.
