But for now we are young, let us lay in the sun, and count every beautiful thing that we see...

The last time I was at the Grand Canyon I was 13. 
I'm 26.
Haley had never been.
This needed to change.
So we planned it,
and we went,
and it was beautiful.

A couple of weeks ago, my sister and I picked up our favorite three year old and took her out for a girls date. We told her we had no rules and let her do pretty much whatever she wanted. Shhh. :) It ended up consisting of hot pink zebra nails, sparkly toes, miniature lollipops, cheese pizza, ice cream cones, as many arcade games as her little heart desired, a 600 ticket jackpot, tootsie rolls, and one really expensive princess coloring book. ha. :)

We love her. :)

(I also go to check off #19 on my 25 while 25 list: Play skeeball. ✓ Better late than never. :)

Number twenty three - plant flowers. ✓

Today is March 5th. I don't know where the time went, but that means I only have 25 more days of being 25. THAT'S IT! I have a few things left on the list, and because today is soo beautiful outside, I went with number 23.


ONE: I want to live in the gardening department of Lowes. It smelt like flowery heaven in that place. I want to go there every day and just walk around and breathe. 


TWO: Big love to the employee who randomly high-fived me on my way out and made my day. I think I am going to start high-fiving all my patients. It made me that happy. 


THREE: Sitting barefoot in the driveway, planting flowers, and listening to the Avett Brothers might be one of the most relaxing things ever.

Number fourteen - Buy (and play!) a guitar. ✓

Because I just can't be somebody that goes through their entire life without knowing how to really play an instrument. :)
